Oak Island Farm comprises approximately 50 acres, with about 3 acres on an island in Lay Lake, where the main house is located, and the remaining acreage dedicated to the breeding, training and welfare of the many Paso Fino horses who call Oak Island Farm home. Most areas of the farm enjoy a scenic view of lovely Lay Lake.
On the grounds of Oak Island Farm you will find:
- The Main House, on the island.
- The Training Barn.
- The Mare Barn.
- Four large, shaded, grassy paddocks.
- Outdoor Arena, with sitting/viewing areas.
- Large, covered round pen.
- Two equipment/storage barns.
- Multiple large pasture areas.

The training barn is the heart of all operations at Oak Island Farm, with:
- 18 stalls, each with Dutch doors for increased ventilation, turn out feeders and automatic waterers
- Indoor and outdoor wash bays
- Reproduction area
- Fully equipped reproduction laboratory
- Climate controlled tack room
- Rubber pavers for secure isle footing
- Modern farm office
- Spacious, modern apartment
- Guest bunk area

Located across the road from the Training Barn and atop the highest knoll on the farm is the Mare Barn, offering peace and tranquility to the mares and offspring, which features:
- 11 stalls total stalls, with Dutch doors for improved ventilation.
- 2 enlarged stalls for mares and foals
- Reproduction area.
- Preparation area.
- Restroom facilities.
- Tack room.
- Outdoor wash bay.
- Two bedroom modern apartment.
- Modern studio apartment.
